On the sidelines of an @ifrc @AUC_HHS co-convened workshop on #AfHA, I had the pleasure of paying a courtesy call to the @ghanaredcross SG Mr. Solomon Gayoni and to learn of the great work of the National Society at community level to prevent, prepare, and respond to disasters.
On the margins of 2️⃣ #AfricaClimateSummit, H.E @amma_twumamoah met Dr. Naveen Rao, Sr. Vice President, Health, @RockefellerFdn. The discussion focused on Africa’s drive for sustainable domestic health financing. Key priorities incl. strengthening #AMA & operationalising #AfHA.
One day, we hope for #AFHA Australia. Now, that destination would be a lot for many to get too. It takes us basically 24 hours to get to Europe, including layovers and the same to NY. If I could fly to NY for it I would. Whilst sad it is not here I am happy for Americans and whoever can travel there to experience it 🫶
