@appfigures We have family and friends that will never use our apps but some random human in another country we've never been to has used it. That just blows my mind. So we pay attention to how many countries use our apps. #aftalks
@appfigures Now with that said international users is an #appfigures metric we keep an eye on. It's amazing to us that people in China, Russia, and Brazil use our app. We've never been to any of those places, and we have users there. #aftalks
@appfigures Our measure for success is simply this: is it useful? When we hear someone say, "I use your app everyday." That's a win for us. The day no one finds our apps useful is the day we stop making apps. There's already so much noise out there, we don't want to add to it. #AFTalks
@appfigures We look at downloads, sales and we've now started looking at App Store conversion rate too inside AppFigures. We're also looking at new ways we can measure what kind of results people are getting from using our app #AFtalks
@appfigures See what competitors are doing in your space and try to understand if the user needs to see a free version of your app to know whether it will be of value to them #AFtalks
@appfigures We feel most people understand what they're getting when they pay for a recipe app, so we've gone for a paid upfront model ($3.99). Later on we added an in-app purchase to unlock additional functionality so now we are paid + subscription #AFTalks
