Thank You to our Canadian Farmers! 🇨🇦 On February 11th, Canada’s Agriculture Day, we celebrate the farmers who work tirelessly to feed us. Growing up, meals were a reminder of gratitude. With a mother who was a culinary activist, we learned the importance of supporting local food. Today, we proudly carry that message forward. Canadian cuisine is as diverse as the people who call this country home. Supporting those who grow and harvest our food means choosing local, reading labels, and sharing their stories. 💛 How to Show Our Appreciation for Canadian Farmers: ✔️ Buy local – Farmers’ markets, butchers, and farm gates. ✔️ Read the labels – Look for product of Canada. ✔️ Cook with local ingredients – Fresh, sustainable, and delicious! ✔️ Support local businesses – Choose restaurants and shops that use Canadian ingredients. 🎥 Want to see the passion behind Canadian food? Watch A Nation’s Table, the award-winning documentary short celebrating Anita Stewart’s legacy and the people who shape our food system. Now streaming on YouTube! Save the date to join us for Food Day Canada on August 2, 2025, a national celebration of Canadian food and the people behind it. #CdnAgDay #ThankYouFarmers #FoodDayCanada #SupportLocal #ANationsTable
