Ending week 3 of #AICDiscog and the post Staley era.
Is Rainier Fog going to continue to disappoint like it’s predecessor or is there something left in AIC for me?
I don’t know this album at all. I’d fully switched off by this point. Here goes nothing…

Week 3 of #AICDiscog and the post Staley era continues with The Devil Put a Dinosaurs Here.
I’ve only heard Stone from this, the rest is a mystery. Is it going to surprise as much as BGWTB?!
So, anyone else that wishes to jump in on the #7Rock #AliceInChainsALbums run, you have 1 week. March is AiC month.
Send in your list of their albums in order. Top7 get votes.
Those that did the #AiCDiscog might want to send in too (though I've already counted & RTed some ;)).
I might have to team up with @bassicksAl for these albums runs. I used to do album voting over a month, so let's make March the #7Rock #AliceInChainsAlbums run as people have already contributed to #AICDiscog.
Send in list of AiC albums. I will take Top7 as votes & list.

#AICDiscog
Shorter, tighter and more focussed than TDPDH. A blend of their trademark "grungy" sound together with some of the more recent hard/alternative rock sound that AIC MKII have included. They don't seem to be able to make a bad album. Cantrell is a talented song writer #AICDiscog

Week 3 of #AICDiscog is the post Staley era.
I pretty much fell off after Layne passed and despite a couple of good singles I just didn’t take to the newer albums at the time.
Black Gives Way to Blue is first up, let’s see if my opinions changed…
Not listened to any AIC post LS. Released a long time after the S/T album,I'd moved on. This is better than I ever imagined. Prefer it to the S/T release. Still has that AIC sound but has grown to include a more heavy rock sound too. Vocally impressive. A good comeback #AICDiscog
My CCs for #BlackGivesWayToBlue for @bassicksAl #AiCDiscog run.
Included are my CCs from 10 years ago then whet I wrote today.
Falling behind in @bassicksAl's #AiCDiscog run. I have given this a couple more listens over the past few days.
My CCs for #AlicInChains
Some more thoughts for Week 2 #AICDiscog...
Alice In Chains - Alice In Chains
AICs S/T album also known as Tripod is dark AF. While Dirt is celebrated as their masterpiece this one ain’t that far off IMO. I love this album. Also the CD packaging really cool...
Week 2 of #AICDiscog come and gone but here’s some thoughts…
Jar Of Flies:
After firing Mike Starr I guess they wanted to test the band’s chemistry with the new bassist Mike Inez and it turned out pretty pretty good. Everybody knows, this EP just too good.
Here we are at week three of #AICDiscog, where we’ll be looking at the William DuVall era. Spoiler alert - Black Gives Way To Blue is right up there with their earlier work
#NowPlaying #NowSpinning
Final album of Week 2 of #AICDiscog is the live recording of their MTV Unplugged session.
I won a copy of this on VHS in a Kerrang competition along with a T-shirt back in 1996. Suffice to say I know this album pretty well.
Since we’re coming to the end of the Layne Staley era of #AICDiscog, before we kick off the post era, what’s people’s thoughts on Jerrys solo records? Did you know about them? Did you like them?
I got Boggy Depot and liked it a lot but never really listened to anything after
