Day 11 of #AIVSC26 was a day of honour, achievement and inspiration! โ๏ธ๐ฅ
๐๏ธ Lt Gen Virendra Vats, YSM, SM, VSM, Director General NCC, graced the camp with his visit. Received at the Central Hall by the Camp Commandant, he was accorded a crisp Guard of Honour, a ceremonial welcome that reflected the discipline and pride of the Air Wing.
๐ฉ๏ธ The DG viewed a static display of Apache helicopter aeromodels crafted by the cadets. Each model stood as proof of skill, imagination and patient craftsmanship. He also received a comprehensive camp report covering eleven days of discipline, dedication and distinction.
๐
The Felicitation Ceremony was the highlight of the day. The DG personally honoured the medal winners in Skeet Shooting, .22 Firing, Aeromodelling, Health and Hygiene and Cross Country, cadets who turned long hours of practice into achievement. He later interacted with the media and had lunch with the cadets at the Central Hall, a gesture that showed the bond between NCC leadership and the youth it mentors.
โบ The Tent Pitching Competition reached its halfway mark, with contingents racing against the clock. Canvas rose in seconds, ropes tightened in perfect rhythm and every cadet knew their role, a true test of teamwork, coordination and speed. The remaining contingents will complete the competition tomorrow, bringing AIVSC-26 to its final lap.
With every other competition now concluded, the contest is nearly won. For those who won, it is recognition. For those who did not, it is a reason to train harder and return stronger.

Day 6 of #AIVSC26 was a day of endurance, honour and inspiration! โ๏ธ๐ฅ
๐ The day began with the Cross Country Run, a first for a centrally organised NCC camp. As the cadets set out, every stride became a statement: that limits exist only in the mind. Through burning lungs, tired legs and moments of doubt, they kept going, because champions are not those who never tire, but those who refuse to stop.
๐๏ธ The camp was honoured by the visit of ADG 'A', who was received by the Camp Commandant. The AIVSC cadets presented a crisp Guard of Honour, a salute that reflected the discipline, pride and precision NCC instils in its youth. The ADG was briefed on the camp's progress, watched a demonstration of Control Line flying and interacted with the aeromodelling cadets, encouraging them to dream bigger and innovate bolder.
๐ค The ADG then joined the cadets for the guest lecture by the eminent speaker GK Iyer, whose words stirred their ambition and sharpened their outlook on leadership and life.
โ๏ธ The Flying Test and Viva and the Health and Hygiene viva showed how well cadets have absorbed their training. In all, 231 cadets have now experienced the thrill of flight across the first three days of flying, one step closer to serving in the Armed Forces.
Endurance. Discipline. Knowledge. Ambition. This is how NCC builds leaders. ๐ช

Day 5 of #AIVSC26 began in stillness and closed in triumph! โ๏ธ๐ฅ
๐ง The morning opened with Yoga during PT, in keeping with the nation's drive to promote Yoga awareness and carry India's timeless gift to the world to its youth. For young cadets, Yoga builds physical balance, mental clarity and the inner calm that sharpens focus under pressure. A healthy body and a peaceful mind are the true foundation of a disciplined soldier.
๐ฏ The .22 firing competition followed, where breath control, concentration and discipline came together in every shot. Such training builds the composure and precision expected of a future officer.
๐๏ธ An educational visit to AFS Tambaram brought cadets to the Air Force Museum and the Kiran and Pilatus hangars. Standing before the machines that trained generations of aviators, they gained a deeper pride in the legacy they hope to inherit, and a QRT briefing taught them the value of readiness and swift response.

Day 4 of #AIVSC26 saw cadets aim high, build bold and fly higher! โ๏ธ๐ฅ
๐ฏ The range came alive as the Skeet Shooting competition got under way. With clay targets streaking across the sky, steady hands, sharp eyes and a calm mind made all the difference. Every shot tested focus, reflexes and composure under pressure, the very qualities of a future officer.
๐ ๏ธ The Aeromodelling workshops hummed with purpose as RC, Control Line construction and static model finishing continued. Cadets shaped, aligned and refined each joint, contour and finish with patience and pride, turning raw material into machines that dare to fly.
โ๏ธ On first day of flying in our camp the sky was no longer a distant dream. Air Experience sorties for 99 cadets on Virus SW 80 and Zen ML aircraft gave them a thrilling taste of flight, and the spark of a future aviator burned brighter with every take-off.
Skill. Courage. Innovation. Today had it all. ๐ช

Day 3 of #AIVSC26 showed that champions are made long before take-off! โ๏ธ๐ฅ
The day began with energising PT, followed by the Health & Hygiene written test, a reminder that a fit body and a sharp mind are the first pillars of an aviator. In the workshops, RC and Control Line construction commenced, while DGNCC examiners meticulously carried out the Static Scale Assessment. Every wing profile, proportion and finish was scrutinised, because in scale modelling precision is everything and every millimetre reflects a cadet's patience and passion.
The CLABS capsule on leadership and mindfulness inspired cadets with a powerful message: true leaders first master themselves, then rise to command the skies.
With the lots drawn for all competitions, the stage is set and the contest is heating up. ๐ช
