@crypto_is_good @DegenerateNews @VitalikButerin This is where Algorand shines... and #ARC59 will make it even better.
Anyone will be able to send any asset to anyone else, without opting in.
Tokens wait in a holding area. The receiver can accept the tokens or reject them and it's like their wallet never got them.
Omg!! 🤯 You don’t even know what I just saw!!
Send any ASA to any wallet without the end user opting in beforehand!!
The receiver can accept or reject the transfer at their convenience.
Coming very soon to ALL Algorand wallets. 🔥 #Decipher2024 $ALGO #ARC59
¿#ARC59 está cerca?👀
Este nuevo estándar de token tendría la función “para enviar activos a usuarios que no han realizado el opt-in” 🤯
Algorand solves this with the opt-in feature. Soon to get even better with #ARC59. Remember when @BlackRock deposited $USDC on Ethereum and everyone sent them meme tokens? (eth seems to be 1st in this industry, followed by chains that actually scale to all people everywhere) But imagine someone creating a wallet and then spammers can send them inappropriate adult only NFTs? 🍆 Lots of reasons why opt-in features of @Algorand are world class… many countries consider receiving crypto a taxable event, so “script kiddies” living in their moms basement drinking Mountain Dew can cause you more time and energy each year on taxes. Just examples, the list goes on.
Heads up, crypto fam! Just spotted some odd discrepancies in my Trust Wallet - a mysterious token showing values over $4k! Turned out to be spam. 😅 Before you let that excitement take over, double-check those contracts! Not sure how? Hit me up or drop your contract/token queries below.
