Despite the 3 Searcy County Election Commissioners being (in my opinion) wrongly found guilty on two counts of election law violations, the power of the people prevailed! Citizens showed up in droves, packed the house, and their sheer presence sent a thunderous message. The Arkansas State Board Of Election Commissioners, to their credit, listened and overturned the outrageous 14 year ban, replacing it with a mere letter of reprimand. While I believe even that letter is unwarranted, the collective action of everyday Arkansans turned the tide. This is what happens when “we the people” stand up and make our voices heard - proof that voluntary human action can move mountains! #arpx
