Takes me back to #ASMERME2020 keynote from @ChrisWatling3 about clinical learning culture, feedback and what we can learn from other professions… #ASME2021 @asmeofficial
Want to send ONE feedback form to cover concurrent workshops at your course/conference?
Yeah, us too. So we built it (you may have seen it if you attended @asmeofficial #asmerme2020).
We've also made it open access so you can build one too

Now delegates can select & provide feedback on any concurrent sessions in your form 🎉
And automatically receive certificates!

It was an honour to be a part of the #ASME conference and act as the @MedAllApp committee chair alongside @junyu0chen for the super exciting workshop by @ChrisWatling3 on how to develop your research idea. #meded #asmerme2020 #MedTwitter

@HildeMetzger? Fab time at #asmerme2020. Highlight has been @ChrisWatling3’s insights into how we receive feedback as medics... why do professional sportspeople/musicians handle critique better than us? Something to discuss at @jasme_uk’s chat on professional identity on Monday!

So, how do we make theory and education kindred spirits rather than opponents? One method Dr Watling suggests is that researchers needs seats at institutional tables and should be involved in organisational decisions to help translate theory into practice. #asmerme2020
What a refreshing approach! Dr Chris Watling describes how he illuminates culture within medicine by spending time within other professional cultures- music, dance etc. This can help highlight differences in approaches to learning. #asmerme2020 #MedEd
Issues with feedback not due to lack of trying... more due to efforts focused on individual change rather than change at a cultural level. #asmerme2020
