Today our #ASTP2023 students visited the Proteomics core facility where @Rlchardkay and Austin taught the basics of peptide and protein mass spectrometry. They even got to perform some denovo sequencing of a fragmentation spectrum to identify a peptide!
This week we host students from the Aspiring Scientists Programme to experience metabolic research. To kickstart the week they were hosted by @lauradearden3 group to hear about how environment in the womb impacts on brain development and learn to mount brain sections! #astp2023
