A5 I am a big fan of @juttatrevira's work including #ATAG2. As the #We4Authors study determined, many #a11y issues are caused because authors are not given enough guidance. #Authors should not need to be accessibility experts. Happy that #Drupal was able 2 incorporate it #AXSChat

Q5 @W3C #ATAG #AuthoringTools Accessibility Guidelines add value when implemented correctly. Why is it so important for the owners of content creation platforms (authoring tools) to include ATAG? #A11Y #DisabilityTwitter #AXSChat

@Susan_Till @HenriHelvetica It isn't ever going to be perfect. But it can help authors by suggesting text and grading the quality of the description. Augmented Intelligence & #ATAG2 should be the goals. That is achievable & meaningful.

Thanks @ltrain_johnson of @MyPlanetJanet for your talk on #AI & #accessibility liked the high-level & realtime usage of this technology to support #PwD. Lots of ways #MachineLearning can be used to assist authors as part of #ATAG2. Interesting 2 think of ways we can move 2 ideals

My question for #mEnabling18 #AI panel is about the hype behind this new tech. #ArtificialIntelligence is amazing but it isn't magic. Even relatively simple things like images & alt text are limited if the author isn't involved in the process. #atag2 #a11y

@hillary @honeygolightly @vasta I like the pledge. I really want to know how that ties into procurement. I'd like to see #ATAG2 brought into the boilerplates of gov procurement. Got some examples here https://t.co/ZE7GftSREx
