#ATripToRemember As I wrap up a beautiful trip to #Goa with family and friends, I find myself reflecting on the kindness of strangers who turned a lovely vacation into an unforgettable memory. It began with our Uber driver in Mysore, who drove us to the airport. He wasn’t looking for a generous tip- he was simply a kind human being. He quietly helped with our heavy bags, treated my elderly parents with such gentleness- especially my mother- and unknowingly set the tone for a wonderful journey. At #MysuruAirport, #IndiGo staffer Poornima Manvachar was another gem. She went out of her way to help us with the check-in process, making it completely seamless. The rest of her team mirrored her kindness, ensuring we experienced no inconvenience. Upon arriving in Goa, the Panjim Taxi Service (ph +91 97631 31419, owned by Deepak) we had booked turned out to be yet another blessing. Our driver, Damodar Naik, was more than just a driver-he became our unofficial guide. His rich knowledge of Goa’s history and culture helped us discover its beauty at our own pace. He was punctual, patient, respectful, and always wore a warm smile. His car was clean and comfortable, and he drove with the kind of care that made us feel safe at all times. These folks have certainly earned lifelong customers in my family. And then there was #TajCidade de Goa – Horizon, the grand finale to our trip. The spacious, beautifully appointed rooms, luxurious bathrooms with separate bathtubs, and a spectacular sea view were everything you’d expect-and more. But what truly elevated our stay was the extraordinary service by Emmanuel Dlima and his team. Emmanuel ensured every detail of our visit was flawless. When he found out we were celebrating my father’s birthday, he had the room decorated for the “birthday boy” and surprised us with a delicious cake. That thoughtful gesture will stay with us forever. I’ve stayed at several Taj properties around the world, but this one-in Cidade de Goa—has been THE BEST by far. Once again, they’ve earned loyal guests for life. There were many others who touched our hearts during this trip-people like Ms. Rita and her husband at a tiny shop in Big Foot, and the warm, cheerful local bakers. They didn’t have to go out of their way. They didn’t even realize they were doing something special. They were just being themselves-good, kind human beings. All I can say is: thank you, Goa, for your warmth, beauty, and the people who quietly make magic happen. Until we meet again 🙏🙏🙏 #FamilyTrip #Goa
