A good friend died last week confronting me with my own future death. I’m Mamane Kay. And Ragadi Kana. I have really lovable nieces and nephews. I’m reprimanded for having favourites. 🙈 My one niece lives with me; a real sweetheart. My cousins are my siblings. #aboutkay

I’m a shoe addict. I love winter for it’s coats and other fashion. I lean toward the classic more than trends. I cry sometimes. Our inequality bothers me A LOT. I love cars. I was ripped off by the renovations guys 🤬 I’ve got time on my hands to be the contractor. #aboutkay

I watch The River, The Queen and The Royals on Showmax. Netflix has me hooked on a lot of stuff. I’m no longer being ripped off by DSTV. I’m taking a breather from comms work, looking for a new passion. Im a good writer most days. I make but hate typos. #aboutkay

I drink lots of water. Graham Beck Brut is my favourite alcohol beverage. I’ve stopped drinking coke. I eat lots of fruit. I love ostrich steak, medium rare. Don’t on’t like pap except very soft Sepedi style with morogo or liver. #aboutkay

My sons make me super proud. I raised them alone and have been mom to my eldest joy since my teens. It wasn’t easy but now he’s a huge well-mannered success. My younger one is a super star artistic person in the making. 🙌🏾 💃🏽 #aboutkay

I’m not too concerned about being liked but I am able to say sorry. Yesterday I was told a woman I don’t know doesn’t like me because of a disagreement I don’t remember on Twitter. I’m sorry I hurt her. #aboutkay

I’m not always nice. I’m able to apologise when I recognise my flaws. I err. On the other have I don’t put up with cr*p at all. I swear less now. I’m an amazing friend to those I love. I’m one of those people you love or hate, no middle ground. #aboutkay

I’ll let my “real life” diverse personality show more here. I laugh out loud, am generous and actually cool to hang out with. I don’t take kindly to being used. I sometimes bicker. These days I keep it moving, hold no grudges. Oh, I play car music on repeat out loud. #aboutkay
