@CharHarAgain @cathywint Or mini-cycles... the outcome of each informs the outcome of the broader, overarching cycle @InfoNeari @CARN_Intl #ActionResearchChat
@JaneO_Connell @CARN_Intl @lakelandruth This is lovely - both the idea of reciprocity and the candlelight!
Thanks for sharing!

@CharHarAgain @CARN_Intl @lakelandruth Was revisiting some AR papers today as part of PhD methodology chapter revision... I really enjoyed this paper re Reciprocity in AR... Btw power outage here in North Dublin! #ActionResearchChat by candlelight!
Thanks to everyone for participating in #ActionResearchChat. That's all for tonight!
We will be back next month to keep on chatting! Drop me a line if you have a topic you would like to see covered or if you would like to be a host!
Happy researching.
@JaneO_Connell @cathywint Yes - mid-cycle review...great suggestion for tidying up messiness! #ActionResearchChat
@cathywint The imposter syndrome is all too familiar for many of us! I'd say lean into your practitioner expertise and keep connecting with groups like @CARN_Intl etc with all the reassuring and like minded peeps!

@CharHarAgain Yes, I read somewhere about ‘cycles within cycles’ and this really resonated with me. But how to turn that into something coherent that someone would want to read! Very challenging #actionresearchchat
@CharHarAgain @CARN_Intl @InfoNeari I have generally encountered the 3- cycle imperative from people who have not necessarily engaged directly AR/PAR as a research method....#ActionResearchChat Too formulaic to be obligatory...
@lakelandruth Haha, that is reassuring. I certainly feel like a brand new action researcher, just starting my EdD, but I always called myself a practitioner researcher, trying new things in my classes and writing about it (sometimes!) But this experience is something else! #actionresearchchat
@CharHarAgain I have found that many researchers/academics can have very fixed views/perceptions on this! E.g. *really should* have 3 cycles to be *good* action research.... @CARN_Intl @InfoNeari
sometimes it's about getting to grips with feeling frustrated and then unpacking that! #ActionResearchChat
