We are still buzzing about the announcement of #ActiveThames grant expansion. Our #ActiveRow Kent programme is growing day by day & next install is our Life Skills Workshop in Kent on The Thames.

Thrilled to announce for a 2nd year, we've received #ActiveThames grant to keep growing our #ActiveRow Kent Program, meaning more young people getting active & venturing onto the Thames.

Last week we were up north to see how #ActiveRow Nottingham has kicked off the year!
First we saw @StoneSoupAcad putting in the work with Coach Laura on a circuit & rowing session.
Then attended the East Midlands Regional Hub meeting hosted by @BritishRowing

We had an exciting indoor rowing challenges happening yesterday up in Leeds & out in Kent! Some of our young people in the Active Row programmes are doing their version of #RTTv too.
They competed in relays & individual events for their school against other #ActiveRow Schools.
Celebrating this announcement with @Sport_England
Our SROI study showed that #ActiveRow London ⬆️ physical activity in young people & ⬆️ resilience.
We're thankful for the support @Sport_England provides us in London, Leeds, Nottingham & Kent and excited to continue expanding!
We're delighted to announce major investment into local communities to drive equal access to sport and physical activity 📢
This targeted place-based approach will help to increase activity levels, decrease inactivity and address the inequalities that prevent people from being active.

💬 State of Life analysed the results to quantify the impact of #ActiveRow on young people’s wellbeing.
Further analyses investigated how other variables impacted wellbeing outcomes, including frequency & duration of participation, type of activity & participant demographics🧾🚣♀️

It was great to see the young people from @StGsGravesend & @STJConnect experience how rowing is a sport of teamwork

3) Active Row Nottingham, in its first year, has done 171 sessions with1340 attendances, 21% from ethnic minorities
We are so proud of our flagship programme #ActiveRow & will be using the summer to reset and refresh on how we deliver this programme across the UK.
As the school year comes to an end, we look back at our #ActiveRow programmes and how they have grown! Follow along:
1) Active Row London has delivered over 1000 sessions including 130 on-water sessions, nearly 13,000 total attendances 73% from ethnic minorities & 15% SEND

Each stroke will be raising funds to support our #ActiveRow programme, aimed at boosting young people's physical & mental wellbeing and developing crucial Life Skills.

The LYR Board visited #ActiveRow Leeds, witnessing the progress made by the Northern team. The day commenced with an on-water session at Roundhay Park, followed by an engaging indoor session w @OutwoodCity
