✅️ Lors de la convention organisée par @Afcac_Cafac AFCAC et l' #Anac_Togo, j'ai eu le plaisir de participer à une belle conversation sur le financement des infrastructures aéroportuaires.
📢 J'ai mis en exergue l'expérience togolaise portée par la vision de SEM Faure Essozimna GNASSINGBE et déclinée ,entre autres, par @LomeAirport - AIGE notamment :
1. Être intégrés (couvrir plusieurs secteurs et plusiseurs pays) et ainsi être à l'échelle financière.
2. Sortir de la fragmentation et proposer des projets bien dimensionnés
3. Tenir compte des données de trafic pour planifier les investissements
4. Faire de la puissance publique un allié qui est le back up et le facilitateur clé de nos investissements
5. Bien structurer les projets pour avoir des projet qui transforment l'économie et les secteurs périphériques
✅️ Au final, nous voulons plus d'intégration, plus de développement et plus d'efficacité

✅️ At the convention organized by African Civil Aviation Commission AFCAC (AFAC) and the #Anac_Togo, I was part of a very interesting conversation about financing airport infrastructure.
📢 I highlighted the Togolese experience leading by HE Faure Essozimna GNASSINGBE vision and, operate by Aéroport de Lomé - AIGE.
✅️ As operator we need to :
1. Be more integrated (covering several sectors and several countries) and thus be on a financial scale.
2. Getting out of fragmentation and proposing well-sized projects
3. Taking traffic data into account when planning investments
4. Making public power an ally that is the back-up and key enabler of our investments
5. Well structure projects to have projects that transform the economy and peripheral sectors
Finally, we want more integration, more development and more efficiency

We are in Togo! The COMESA Competition and Consumer Commission (CCCC) has joined aviation experts, regulators and stakeholders in the inaugural African Air Transport Convention & Expo 2026 taking place in Lome, Togo from 15 to 19 June 2026. The Convention is being held under the theme, "One African Sky: Connectivity and Sustainable Air Transport Development". CCCC is exhibiting at the Convention to sensitise stakeholders on its mandate including efforts to protect consumers in the air transport sector, issuance of a guidance letter to airlines operating in the COMESA Region, among other significant interventions.
