#Airnote down again...what's the problem? #PT20201222 stopped working. Had to open this based on a conversation I had with Prof @d_westy from a place of curiosity in getting the old @ThePurpleAir monitors up and running. His conclusions are 👌🏿👌🏿👌🏿
We've plugged in the correction factor developed for the use of the #Airnote monitor. Too early to make a case but functionality okayed! Air sensors have the potential to bridge the huge AQ data gap in rural Africa. We will be studying the fine dust here with a ref monitor (2/2)

@pallavipnt @JoinClarity A bit late with this time series plot for PM₂.₅ & environmental variables. Raw PM values just to check the functionality of the #Airnote monitor at #Banjul. We have developed a correction factor for its use in Ghana but will subject it to peer review before application soon.
@pallavipnt @JoinClarity #Airnote deployed at a Sanatorium - Banjul, The Gambia close to a dump site. We aim to provide scientific evidence for the relocation of the sanatorium/ shutdown the dump site. To our mind, either way will be a win-win situation for public health protection in The Gambia.

@darbyjack Extremely humbled & grateful - the serendipity of air pollution research & mitigation in underserved communities. The #airnote monitors are the simplest to use. Works like turning a switch on & off the wall. Excellent tool for training pupils. Will be awesome to assemble here.
