🎓 In our previous articles, we covered the foundational concepts of game theory and the architecture of the TIG platform. Now, we will shift our focus to how you can join TIG and earn rewards by solving algorithm challenges. We will specifically explore the roles of Innovator and Benchmarker, explaining how you can actively contribute to the TIG community. @tigfoundation 🛠 Becoming an Innovator or Benchmarker There are two primary roles on the TIG platform: Innovators and Benchmarkers. Both play a crucial role in the success of the platform. 🔹Innovator: These are individuals who develop and submit algorithms to the platform. Innovators earn rewards based on the performance of their algorithms. Successful algorithms are adopted by other players and generate earnings as they are used. 🔹Benchmarker: These participants test the algorithms submitted by Innovators and assess their performance. Benchmarkers earn rewards by identifying and testing the best algorithms, focusing on the various challenges presented by the platform. Participation Process: 1️⃣ Registration and Joining the Platform: The open participation mechanism of TIG allows anyone to join. Developer tools and participation guides are readily available on the official website. 2️⃣ Setting Up the Development Environment: Participants must set up their development environments using the tools provided by the TIG platform. Advanced tools, such as #CUDA optimizations, significantly enhance performance. 3️⃣ Developing and Submitting Algorithms: Once Innovators have developed their algorithms, they submit them to the platform. Benchmarkers then test these algorithms to earn rewards. 🔍 A Step-by-Step Breakdown of Algorithm Challenges The algorithm challenges on the TIG platform target problems that are difficult to solve but easy to verify, such as NP-complete problems. These challenges are crucial for advancing scientific research and developing more efficient algorithms. For example, the Hamiltonian Cycle Problem is a key challenge on TIG. The following steps are involved in this process: 1⃣ Innovators submit their algorithms to solve the Hamiltonian Cycle problem. 2️⃣ Benchmarkers test these algorithms, evaluate their performance, and rewards are distributed accordingly. 3️⃣ The most successful algorithms gain wide acceptance within the community and find broader applications. Each algorithm is scored based on its ability to solve a particular challenge, and rewards are given in the form of TIG tokens, based on performance. 🧩 The Algorithm Development and Submission Process Algorithm development and submission on the TIG platform are carried out using developer tools and APIs. Innovators should follow these steps: 1️⃣ Utilizing CUDA Optimizations: CUDA plays a crucial role in algorithms that require high performance. Algorithms optimized with CUDA can run faster, increasing their potential for rewards. 2️⃣ Submitting Algorithms Using the API: The TIG platform provides APIs for submitting and evaluating algorithms. Developers use these APIs to submit and test their algorithms. ⚙️ Strategic Participation for Maximum Rewards To succeed on TIG, it's important to think strategically and take full advantage of the opportunities the platform provides. Here are some strategies: 🔹 Participating in Different Challenges: Instead of focusing on a single algorithm or challenge, you can develop algorithms for various challenges to increase your earning potential. This diversity is important for both Innovators and Benchmarkers. 🔹 Timing Strategies: The timing of token emissions directly affects rewards. For example, you can submit algorithms during periods of lower emissions to earn higher rewards. Engaging with the Community and Shaping the Project The TIG community plays a key role in the platform's success. Being an active part of the community and participating in decision-making processes benefits both individuals and the community as a whole. 🔹 Community Polls: Community polls are frequently conducted on TIG, and they play a significant role in determining the platform’s direction. Participants have a say in important matters like token burning. 🔹 Community Calls: Regular community calls allow participants to stay informed about project developments and provide feedback. These calls bring the community together to discuss and shape the direction of the project. 📊 In this article, we learned how to become an #Innovator or #Benchmarker on $TIG, how to solve algorithm challenges, and how to earn rewards in the process. The opportunities offered by TIG, combined with community support, make it possible to contribute to decentralized scientific research. In our next article, we will dive deeper into the technical structure of TIG and focus on performance optimizations for algorithms. @Alison_M_Bell @TheLetdownTV @netflix I would (and do) argue strongly that @TheLetdownTV is for ANYONE - mums, dads, no-kid-people. Everyone should be confronted with the reality of parenthood.
