Never associate hardships (tsunami/accidents/etc) with blatant sins!
You don't have access to Divine knowledge.
How come you blame all people just because a group of people were committing sins?
Be careful. Always.

Never wait asking Allah's forgiveness when only you're committing sins.
Sometimes you repent to Him because you're not giving full right of Him. It's about perfecting your ibadah.

Understanding Allah's Love:
Allah loves the believer but doesn't love the wicked one.
But still, He loves something good for him. Always turn back to Allah. The door is always open.

Do not treat your religion just as doing good/bad deeds or Jannah/Hellfire.
Make it as personal things between you & Allah.
You're not dealing with system/robot, but Ar-Rahman & Ar-Raheem.

The greatest punishment is not the Hellfire, but the anger of Allah.
The greatest reward is not Jannah, but Allah's pleasure.
It's more about your personal connection to Allah.

We as a Muslim should try our best to be the greatest human being in the sight of Allah.
Our souls are not only to fear Allah's punishment. But rather to expect the greatest reward from Him.
