#AlmatyProcess member states met at the Senior Officials Meeting to assess #regional migration trends and results in 2021 & 2022. The countries pledged to further contribute to #safemigration in the region. Türkiye handed over the presidency to Azerbaijan for the next two years.
OTS Deputy Secretary General Dr. @omerkocaman participated in the Senior Officials’ Meeting (SOM) of the #AlmatyProcess (AP) on Refugee Protection and International Migration that was held online on 28 March 2023.
At the meeting, Observer Status of the Organization of Turkic States in the Almaty Process, as well as issues related to the essentiality of continuous multilateral dialogue on migration management and protection of refugees were discussed.
