We were able to turn sadness in to happiness a few weeks ago. Following a successful homing last year, the beautiful #AltmoreMidget unfortunately had to come back to us following her adopters ill health
It just so happened that Alan and Lena, following the loss of their previous hound Harley, were ready to come and search for their new pal. Midget was exactly what they were looking for, with her previous experience in a home a massive plus for them. Following a successful trial we were delighted to complete the paperwork this week to finalise her adoption

We really enjoyed our day at @NewcastleDogs on Good Friday as we had the opportunity to get the beautiful #FootfieldLogan and #AltmoreMidget out there to meet the public and show them what amazing pets greyhounds make. A big thanks also to the track for giving us the platform on such a busy day

We had another nice double at @NewcastleDogs this afternoon as #AltmoreMidget and #DungannonCandy did the business. It was Midget (T6) up first, taking her usual wide line she was able to bide her time, sweeping wide off the last to take the lead scoring in 30.12 ππ»ππ»
We kicked off a new week on Tuesday at @NewcastleDogs with a 1-2 for #AltmoreMidget and #AlwaysAble . They were both able to escape some bumping at the bend to go down the back in front but Midget was able to show by far the better stamina to score by 5 3/4
And the double was up with a fabulous run from #AltmoreMidget (T5). Just missing some trouble at the bend, she swung inside off the 2nd and took the lead, never looking like getting caught all the way home πͺπ»πͺπ»
We picked up one winner at tonightβs @NewcastleDogs meeting as #AltmoreMidget (T6) ran a fantastic race, taking advantage of some checking at the bend she got round in front, and despite T1 doing its best to close she kicked again at 3/4 for the win πͺπ»πͺπ»
And the tidy double comes up in the lucky last as #AltmoreMidget (T6) runs a fantastic race to come from behind and chin T4 on the line πͺπ»πͺπ»
We were back into racing action on Tuesday night at @NewcastleDogs with 7 runners on the card. We had to wait until the last race for a winner but #AltmoreMidget (T5) obliged for us, taking the lead at the third bend she held on by the thinnest of margins πͺπ»πͺπ»
We had one winner from our 6 runners at @NewcastleDogs on Friday afternoon, as #AltmoreMidget (T1) made all from the top of the handicap in the first race, extending her lead to 3 lengths down the back the back markers never got near ππ»ππ»
A race later, #AltmoreMidget (T5) made it a littermate double for the day in a near identical run! Showing bravery at the first bend she went round in 3rd place, paced down the back and split the two leaders off the last bend getting up just before the line πͺπ»πͺπ»
Itβs a late start for us today at @NewcastleDogs with no runner until race 6 and a second kennelling ππ»ππ»
We have 8 runners on the card and 1 reserve, #AltmoreMidget comes in as reserve in Race 6, Trap 6
