3/3 For our last #WeeklyHighlight the smiles tell it all! Interns from the @UCL_IDHUB program engaged with selected students in our #AnanseAtHome program. It was an insightful 2-way learning session, which had students & interns discussing experiences & co-creating solutions !

The #AnanseAtHome program tests the efficacy of context sensitive e-learning content.
Students explore self-paced modules in English,Science & Maths through Ananse stories,games & practical tasks.
Latest additions to the program are students in the R/C school complex, Kdua!
Students in the #AnanseAtHome program in the central region have successfully completed module 1!
The program is our e-learning initiative that aims to make up for lost learning time through gamification!
Module 1 lessons - ‘Mixtures & Compounds’ & ‘Solid Geometric Shapes’.
A key aim of #AnanseAtHome is to explore how Ed-tech can be used to create engaging learning pathways to make up for time lost to learning. One of the lessons in module 1, guided students to learn about the geometry of solid figures through The Tortoise & the Eagle story.
Post-tests are underway as students in the #AnanseAtHome program complete 1st modules on our story-based gamified platform! The program seeks to explore exciting learning pathways to compensate for time lost to learning, bridging the learning gaps between home & school.
5/5 The Mathematics and Arts lesson associated to module 1, explored Geometry meets Arts and Crafts, as students learned about different rectangular prisms through the beautiful gift boxes they created. #AnanseAtHome
The Science lesson associated to module 1 is mixtures and compounds. Students have explored creating mixtures and compounds, as explained in the associated story, by using everyday materials found at home. #AnanseAtHome
1/5 In advancing viable pathways to increasing learning engagement, towards making up for time lost to learning during school lockdowns, our #AnanseAtHome program has successfully engaged teachers and students in selected schools to explore gamified learning!
Another impactful week for the #AnanseAtHome program. Engaging with module 1 on our gamified story-based app, students across target schools, explored :
1. Reading and Comprehension
2. Vocabulary Building Exercises 3. An Experiment on Mixtures & Compounds

Having an impact filled #WowWednesday? Impact measurement is critical to providing evidence on the efficacy of gamified learning. All students in our program, take baseline tests prior to engagement, to facilitate learning outcome assessments! #AnanseAtHome #AprilOfImpact
2/3 This week also had as beginning Phase 2 of engagement with Krutiase M/A basic & wrapping up baseline testing in our target schools in the Eastern region. We are excited about the impact we are set to make through our gamified learning channels. #AnanseAtHome #AprilOfImpact
1/3 Great week by all standards! Teachers and students in Apewosika & Imam Khomeini Basic (Cape Coast), are the latest to join our #AnanseAtHome after-school program, which explores gamified learning to make up for the time lost to learning over past year! #AprilOfImpact
