Azerbaijan Federal-Democratic Union “Our strength lies in our unity” A few months after the formation of the “Azerbaijan Federal-Democratic Union” by two democratic forces, the process of convergence among freedom-loving forces has entered a new stage. As a continuation of this path, and within the framework of the same principles and shared agreements, the “Azerbaijan National Resistance Organization” is also joining this union. This joining is a manifestation of the strengthening solidarity among democratic forces and a clear indication of the growing tendency toward unity around shared values such as freedom, equality, justice, and the right to self-determination. The expansion of this union demonstrates that different forces, by overcoming fragmentation, have recognized the necessity of cooperation and convergence within a common framework. With its now broader composition, the Azerbaijan Federal-Democratic Union emphasizes the continuation of political and civic cooperation aimed at the realization of democracy, the elimination of discrimination, the achievement of Azerbaijan’s right to have its own state within the framework of a federal and democratic Iran, and the ensuring of sustainable development. It also declares its readiness for other pro-democracy forces to join this common path. On this path, we extend our hands to all organizations belonging to the Azerbaijani national movement that see at least part of their goals reflected in this platform.
