Last session, a PC requested a map from the Riev (basically a mayor, appointed by the local Theyn) at the village in 07.28, so with next session being Monday, I guess I better get #AppendixB out and fill in some empty space!

New "Region Hex" page template to copy for the binder. Breaks down the 6mi horizontal hex into 19 vertical hexes about 1 mi each. Between this and the "Super Hex" page (91 horizontal 6mi hexes), I can #AppendixB the heck out of my entire campaign area.

When using #AppendixB to generate terrain, remember that ponds may be only SEASONALLY full of water, and may be simply dry when there is a drought. Look at your climate and the area around it to determine what it probably looks like.

What I’m going to blog about re #AppendixB are things I already said in my #Shuckstein session report. Will this new blog have more impact since normie #dnd geeks love to theorycraft about campaigns that might happen one day than have actually happened?

@DoomstoneCrom If the players keep going back to the same places it’s a good idea to flesh out the map. If they keep throwing you curve balls then the advantage they get by havin the dm flustered is offset by the 3-10 minutes they lose for the dm to roll on #appendixA or #appendixB
