@TexasOnCourse As college counselors, we really have to know the community, our colleges, and the diversity within our student populations. What works at one school, may not work at another, even in the same town/city. Offer a variety of events that will reach all students, and parents.

A4: Essays can be scary! Use a personal voice; don’t follow cookie cutter templates. When prompts were released, I sent them to our English 3 teachers so they could incorporate them into lessons before school got out for summer. #ApplyTxChat #TXOC_Ambassador #AskTXOC
