Modder Keff0, who has recently found a lot of interesting unused stuff in Resident Evil 4 Remake, managed to restore the original textures for a character named Yuri. 🔎 Yuri’s model was found in the PC version of RE4 Remake back when the game was released, but it had no textures. Keff0 found that the original textures are actually still included on the PS5 disc. Thanks to this find, we now finally know what this mysterious character was supposed to look like. 🤔 So, who is Yuri? The first mentions of Yuri appeared in a Resident Evil audition script that leaked in 2021. The script was made for Project Highway, the codename for Resident Evil Revelations 3. The game was set in 2003, about one year before the events of Resident Evil 4, and featured Albert Wesker. In the leaked script, Yuri worked with Scorpio, a female crime boss. He found a badly injured Wesker, who was going by the name “Michael Baxter,” and brought him to Scorpio’s compound.
