Designed by Faulkner-Brown Hendy Watkinson Stonor in 1981-82, C20 Society attempted to save the high-tech council building, yet it was demolished for housing in 2014.

For C20 #ArchiveFriday this week, we look at the International Garden Festival Hall in Liverpool, by @Arup Assoc. (1984)
The 7,500sqm centrepiece venue was designed to be converted to a leisure centre after the Garden Festival, but fell into disrepair and was demolished in 2006.
