3/3 During #WWII the #TransportationCorps (part of ASF) moved more than 30 mill soldiers in the US & 7 mill overseas, also 126 mill tons of cargo-5000 #WACS played a vital role in these operations. The #ArmyServiceForces were assigned c.40% of enlisted WACs by 1944 #womenshistory

1/3 If I were a #WAC in #WWII I’d have worked in logistics, perhaps organising supplies in a depot or managing the shipment of troops from a port, so I recreated some scenarios as part of a #livinghistory #photography day with @chappersphotog1. I'm with the #ArmyServiceForces
