In the next paper coming out of the #ArtsApp project we find that it’s the #SDT features of the app (#feedback #autonomy_support #competence) that gives the positive affects, not tech #Novelty_effect in and by itself. @sfubioceed @lucas_jeno

@VVandvik @lucas_jeno @sfubioceed Fantastic! I had similar experiences using #ArtsApp and @wherigo in teaching NTNU’s botany course. Suddenly learning plants became something everyone could do.

Happy App! lucas_jeno has studied how using a text vs our mobile #ArtsApp to identify Carex spp affect student motivation and achievement. Students feel & do better w/app, bc they are given choices & get feedback along the way. @sfubioceed #TeachersRetreat
