We have been enduring #AsAJews since our inception some 3400 years ago on our original journey to our ancestral homeland, Yisrael aka Palestina. We have moved so far past them. All it proves is that our natural inclination is to demonstrate empathy & solidarity to all humans and some of us get stuck with a severe case of the #Stockholm_Syndrome.

Years before Oct 7, Independent Jewish (sic) Voices were the #AsAJews (at best) who said incidents of Jew hate are vastly overreported AND acts of Islamphobia are underreported. IJV’s anti-Jew vitriol has only ramped up since then. ETFO knows exactly what it’s getting with IJV.

It is completely unacceptable that the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario has engaged Independent Jewish Voices, a fringe, anti-Zionist organization, to deliver antisemitism training to its executive. Platforming ideologically driven groups that do not represent the vast majority of Jewish Canadians to deliver antisemitism or equity training raises serious concerns about credibility, consistency, and community trust. @mikalapaula @gfstarr1 also, the English translation (and standard phrase used by Jews) of יהי זכרה ברוך = "may her memory be a blessing" (the literal translation is "may her memory be blessed") but "LET her memory be a blessing" would be a different phrase (תנו) as usual, #AsAJews don't know Hebrew
