PNB MD Says Leave by 6:30 PM but Branch Staff Still Sitting at 9 PM. Who Is Lying? @pnbindia MD & CEO #Ashok_Chandra once again said bank staff should not be called on holidays and that such practices are often done to satisfy the ego of senior officials. He also mentioned that for years he himself has not worked on Sundays and advised bankers to leave office by 6:30 PM for proper work-life balance. Good statement. But then why are many bankers still working late nights, Sundays, and even continuously for 10–15 days without rest? If the MD’s instructions are serious, then Circle Heads and Zonal Heads must be held accountable whenever branch staff are forced to stay late or work on holidays. Either the top leadership cannot control its own management chain… or these speeches are only for town halls and publicity while branch staff continue to suffer. Bankers don’t need motivational speeches anymore. They need real work-life balance, backed by action. #Bankersvoice

🚨 PNB Sonipat | Live Harassment Update 🚨 Today is 24th Jan, Saturday, a declared holiday but #PNB Sonipat Circle has forcefully made employees come to office today in the name of pendency. Despite repeated assurances by @pnbindia MD Mr. #Ashok_Chandra about improving work culture and not calling employees on holidays, employees are being to forced work on holidays. This has crossed all limits now. When employees questioned this illegal and inhuman order, Circle Head threatened them with the name of MD Ashok Chandra, instead of withdrawing the holiday work order. Is this the “improved culture” promised by the MD? Is this governance or intimidation? Banking pendency will never end. Forcing employees to work on holidays is not a solution. Recruitment is the solution. This looks like a deliberate attempt to harass and mentally pressure employees just before the UFBU #5daysbanking strike from 27th. Mr. #Ashok_Chandra must intervene immediately. If circle heads are acting on their own, control them. If this is happening with your consent, then the truth is out.
