If your partner is your caregiver, it’s perhaps their right but it is not their responsibility. Dr. Phil has it wrong. They can be your caregiver and your partner. The balance is attainable. #askacrip #26yearmarriage #DiversityandInclusion

@GHMansfield There’s a deep psychological need for people to not see disability. It is interwoven with ‘sins of the fathers’ as well as ‘we are but a car accident or doctor appointment away...’ Every bigotry has its roots in fear and blame. #disabilityrights #askacrip
