A10: Every organisation needs to provide their employees with a password management application, just like applications for spreadsheets, email and databases. Add it to their corporate policies and require the use of it. People can learn it, like email and browsers. #AskKB4

Using their own data. Send a baseline simulated phishing test at the start. Then train and simulate phishing test your organization at least once a month. Then measure the rate of people who can get tricked by a phish. It should be declining if your training is good. #AskKB4

Use such metrics as "how many incidents have occurred or been prevented", using a Phish Prone Percentage of the employees. Create different scorecards for different roles, C-Suite, Finance, Developers, R&D, Service etc. #AskKB4 #scorecards

A9 By asking them about their opinions ons security related issues. Are they aware? How do they feel about security? And how would they react to an incident? Then compare the results to the security posture of your organization through data from your monitoring tools. #AskKB4

A8 Aligning security culture with the existing values of the overarching company culture works well. It should be a joined effort supported by all. But C-level determines how they want their culture to look like. Thus they should decide the level of security they want. #AskKB4

In an emergency or new event, most people revert to what they have been trained to do. So, training, no matter how you do it, is important to do. You just need to make sure the training is well done and relevant, however you do it. #AskKB4

A8: It has not only to be talked about by leadership, but demonstrated as well. From the C-suite to line managers, it is important that leadership publicly demonstrate a proper security culture. #AskKB4

A8: It starts from the top and should involve empowering employees. Have requirements in performance plans. Teach employees how their security behavior impacts the business. Have scorecards or top 10 sheets to create competitiveness among divisions, departments, leaders. #AskKB4

A7 I think a lot of organizations do value it. But find it hard to execute properly. Therefore, they go for the (easier?) technology angle. Showing them (through data) of the need AND the value in security awareness is the way to go to convince them. #AskKB4

Yes. It may surprise some people, but we still get a small % of people questioning it's value at all. And we say just look at the data...anyone's data. Good security awareness training significantly reduces risk of compromise and I don't care who's data you use. #AskKB4

A7: I feel like people are recognizing the value of putting just a little more effort in to training than what is required for compliance. It is not hard, however dollar-for-dollar, it’s quickly being seen as the most effective money spent #AskKB4
