#Neuburger is particularly found in drier areas such as the Thermenregion. In Burgenland, it may be used alongside #PinotBlanc, #Chardonnay and #GrünerVeltliner for white Leithaberg DAC. It produces very good #Qualitätswein and #Prädikat wines. #Austrianfacts

The indigenous #RoterVeltliner is the parent variety of Neuburger, Zierfandler and Rotgipfler. However, it has lost ground to the Grüner Veltliner and now grows in limited areas of Niederösterreich, especially in #Wagram, #Kamptal and #Kremstal. #Austrianfacts

#Rotgipfler is a crossing of #Traminer and #RoterVeltliner and is related to #GrünerVeltliner. This variety is almost exclusively found in the Thermenregion. #Austrianfacts
