With the help of our #AxisAL plant members, teachers from McDavid-Jones Elementary went shopping to get gifts for their students. Santa and an elf handed the gifts out, and any extras were donated to the Ronald McDonald house.

After a rigorous 4-day evaluation at our #AxisAL site, OSHA’s VPP team and Special Government Employees recommended Axis remain a VPP “Star” site. Axis has maintained recognition as an OSHA VPP “Star” site for 20+ years due to its effective safety and health management systems.
Arkema’s #AxisAL plant manager and members of the Service Team presented Suzannah Weeks, @AmericanCancer representative, with a check for $2,783. Our team raised funds earlier in March at the site’s annual chili tasting event to help in the fight against cancer.
To help the fight against cancer, our #AxisAL team was happy to cook for a cause! To support the American Cancer Society (ACS), we held our annual chili tasting. For $5, employees received a bowl and a raffle ticket. The goal is to raise $3,000, and we are almost there!
Our #AxisAL plant received @PEPMobile’s 2021 Environmental Stewardship Award for our work to retrofit a non-operating production unit at the plant to make PEKK. Using existing assets aligns with our sustainable development vision and our commitment to our communities.
Our #AxisAL Santa has been busy! He stopped at McDavid-Jones Elementary School to drop off gifts for students and then made his way to Fausak Tires to donate to the “10 Caring Gifts” drive sponsored by local news station @FOX10News, which serves those in need during the holidays.
Our #AxisAL plant sent Santa with gifts in tow to Mt. Vernon Head Start, spreading Christmas cheer among children ages 6-months to 5-years. He also took time read them a story. Happy holidays to the Head Start team, the children, and their families!
