The big AlephZero 'Wen' FAQ
Wen Common?
Common AMM is currently on Testnet. it is being audited the final version will go live once the first bridge is ready. The product will continue to be built out throughout 2024 to include shielded pools, decryption oracle, and the broader USP.
So wen Bridges?
Azero has a number of bridges coming. The two nearest to completion are the team's own ETH bridge called 'Most'. Most is progressing well on github, and is expected to be live end Q1 or start Q2 (pending testing and audit). This will allow Common and other apps to go live at the same time. It will also be built into the Common UI. The next is the third party bridge with Router Protocol. Azero has been added to the internal testing of the Router Nitro bridge.
Wen Common airdrop?
The date of the $CMN airdrop is yet to be announced. It is known that people staking azero will be eligible to receive it. Final airdrop requirements and token economy are en route.
Wen AZF wallet?
It'll be built into Common in the near future. The goal is for Common to be a one-stop-shop for all your degen defi needs.
Wen Liminal/privacy?
The first element of Azero's privacy solution, the transaction shielder, is mostly complete and will be deployed after Common and the bridges go live. Further elements will be rolled out throughout 2024. Recently, the team expanded shielder's concept description. Liminal is undergoing rebranding to better communicate what it is and what it can do.
Wen marketing?
There is already steady marketing happening, in a variety of forms such as op-eds written by team members, the Ctrl+Z hackathon, social media activity, etc. This activity will be stepped up once the products above are approaching release, in an initiative the team calls 'Alephoria' (Aleph Zero + Euphoria). The goal is to market in a sustainable way, and to retain users once they arrive. The team is not opposed to 'crypto-native' marketing but they will seek to deploy all marketing in a way that retains users in the long term.
Wen exchanges/volume/liquidity?
Team is aware of the need for these and working on it but the first rule of exchange listings is you don't talk about exchange listings (many exchanges operate a one-way NDA at time of contact - you will lose your listing chance if you break the NDA).
Wen dapps?
We've already got some, like https://t.co/HD8UCFks92, ArtZero and PanoramaSwap. Also, a number of really cool apps are getting ready for release, some of which need the bridges and Common before they go live. A few to watch are: Kintsu, Abax, Syncra, Interlock, Just Apes (Apes Across Worlds), 21x and more
