HOT TAKE: Storm and T'Challa are a stupid couple. They were two characters who, to my knowledge, had never even interacted before until one day, some brain trust at Marvel thought they should get married. There was no relationship. Just some out-of-nowhere backstory that was clumsily retconned in and then, just like that, they were booking a wedding venue. There was nothing to base it on. Marvel just figured, "They're both black, so they should be together. If they get married, it will be a great publicity stunt." Surprise, surprise, an entire relationship/marriage based on superficiality probably isn't built to last. So to the shock of everyone *cough* it ended as quickly as it began and I don't know if they've had anything to do with each other since then (at least in the comics). Frankly, the idea that Marvel is still pushing this pairing in any medium just weirds me out. If they seriously think it's destined to end any differently than it did the first time, well... good luck with that.
