'Released to the Hounds', one of the the largest and most striking works in #TylerToews current #BAFGallery show, exemplifies many of his artistic signatures: bold use of colour, loose, emotionally charged brushstrokes, and a balance of abstraction and representation.
In his current #BAFGallery show 'Building', #MichaelBatty invites the viewer to look beyond the initial recognition of geometric shape as a commonly shared element to a consideration of the variety of permutations that these basic shapes can generate.
The two current shows at #BAFGallery, from #TylerToews and #MichaelBatty, complement each other with their equally vibrant colour palettes but diametrically opposite approach.

We are so excited to unveil #MichaelBatty's 'Prop', the first work to be exhibited in #BAFGallery's new public exhibition space, the Garage. Illuminated at night and visible from the street 24/7, the Garage shares BAF programming with passerby and invites them into the gallery.
