Today, we held our third protest at Metrotown to raise awareness about the unfair treatment we are facing. The BCPNP-IPG policy was abruptly changed on March 19 without any notice and without considering current students and those who have already received offers. The details of the BCPNP-IPG policy will not be released until the end of this year, leaving us uncertain about our future. MLA Anne Kang has also denied her previous promise to hold a meeting with students. For months, we have been deeply worried about this issue, which has significantly affected our daily lives. Please allow us to clarify our request. We are not against the policy change, we just need a grandfather clause for these master students who have already enrolled and enrolled before December 2024.

Therefore, in the news, the sentence in the last second paragraph should be "The petition urges the province to introduce a transition period or a “grandfather clause” for students currently enrolled AND enrolled before December 2024."
