Give time limits so there is a sense of urgency during practical so pupils stay on task #BCUMusicEd
Give each member of a small group performance a role, and suggest instruments for each role in the group- balance the freedom #BCUMusicEd
Ensure all pupils have a musical role and stress the importance of their role. Their want to impress will warrant their focus #BCUMusicEd
It may seem obvious, but showing the pupils how to play the instrument(s) involved properly and safely, is essential! #BCUMusicEd
