Best out of bad and not so good options. Celebrate but without too many expectations.

Keep a watch on Jamaat.
Refrendum -affirmative verdict- legitimises July 24 Charter ⁉️

Please don't miss equally, if not more significant Referendum being conducted concurrently with elections. This referendum is somewhat constitutionally questionable exercise, it has the potential to redefine power structure like limiting tenures of PM, bi-cameral system, enhancing powers of President. Will Mohd Yunus pitch for that role ⁉️
India's concerns-
1- Sanctuary to NE rebels?
2- China-Pak collusion?
3- Treatment of minorities?
4- Lurch towards anti-India posture ?

@MichaelKugelman #BNP participating in #BangladeshElections—seen to be rigged—would only lend legitimacy to the rigged election, BNP says, while not participating in #BDElections means the election will be seen as de facto invalid, if not de jure. AL-run judiciary are unlikely to declare invalid.
Future:
-Find solutions between us
-Make progress in the relationship self-sustaining and irreversible
-Ensure stakeholders in both countries
-Be alert to spoilers and cynics
-Enlightened self-interest
-Never lose sight of the long term #BDelections 5/5
A false premise as Awami Still exists today.
People must realise the false and dictatorial message of Awami League leaders and their blind supporters.
Work for the nation, not for the pockets of Awami politicians.

@ArifaRahmanRuma আওয়ামী লীগ যদি কনো বিএনপির মতো আচরণ করতো তাহলে এতদিন বিএনপির নামগন্ধ মুছে যেতো।
Even the Awami mouth pieces admit opposition activists and leaders are being arrested, and even 200 is no small number.
Remember ordinary supporters are being detained and that adds up to thousands.
#BDElections must take place under a free and fair care taker government.
BNP is spreading rumors that numerous leaders and workers of BNP have been arrested on the occasion of Friday's mass meeting.
According to Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul, this number is 200, BNP lawyer Omar Farooq claims several hundred, and according to Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, this number is more than 500! That is, the exact number is unknown. They could not show the list of arrested leaders and workers.
It is necessary to remind what happened during the program of Awami League during the regime of BNP-Jamaat alliance. The headline of Prothom Alo newspaper dated February 5, 2006 - Long March: 8 thousand arrested in Dhaka. Innocent people are victims
