Happy #BLTuesday from family vacation in Maine. Sam had to stay back in Chicago so we came up with his & hers BLT’s this week.
I present: BLT quiche with spinach, basil, & white cheddar. Dabble of pesto aioli out of respect for its true form
it’s gonna be a late night #BLTuesday because we’re still recovering but that sandwich is coming don’t you worry
on #BLTuesday we’re all about presenting new ideas and the bourgeois pig did just that. crumbled bacon on this avocado triple decker blt made for perfectly even distribution in each bite. the bougie pig certainly lives up to its name
sometimes for #BLTuesday you have to break the mold and change things up a little bit, so for our dinner blt’s meg grabbed us some turkey bacon and pretzel buns which we then enhanced with avocado and some düsseldorf style mustard. delightfully light and easy on the eyes.
we went searching for new sandwich spots for #BLTuesday and we loved the results. this truffle blt with avocado and truffle aioli on toasted challah from the fat shallot is a classic. (also pictured bacon dill potato salad with stone ground mustard)

after several weeks of outdoing ourselves we decided to take it easy this week for #BLTuesday so we grabbed some thicc cut guinness molasses bacon from the farmers market and threw it on a toasted brioche bun with honey gingerbread dijon mustard and arugula. ez and efficient.
#BLTuesdayOnTheRoad new orleans brought us my personal favorite of the entire summer, the oyster blt from Luke. too many buzzwords to put in one tweet so i’ll let the menu speak for itself. pictured with and without fried egg
bonus #BLTuesday featured app: bacon lard trout dip
this week #BLTuesday fell on another important food date that is close to my heart, national fried chicken day. so we celebrated appropriately by chicken frying our bacon and using skillet fried chicken breasts for the buns. fried chicken and fried bacon, perfect harmony.
we had a little fun in the kitchen for #BLTuesday. waffles made with cornmeal and bacon bits, fried green tomato, maple bourbon bacon, green leaf lettuce and sriracha mayo. flawless execution imho
after a very wrong delivery from our first restaurant, we scrambled to put the pieces together and ended up with fried green tomato sliders from Sheffield’s topped with prosciutto done in the air fryer. the jalapeño basil vinaigrette really tied this #BLTuesday together.
