I'll level with you; #backroombeyond is a horror puzzler you'll either like or won't. Although it currently leans more toward the latter, it still deserves a go~
~Takeaway~
#backroombeyond's highly selective of its audience. Even considered way niche...!
Its flaws beget creative finessing & hacks. Except it asks- no, tests too much of our patience.
Has to take steps back to reinvent or risk alienating more players~

> Being able to carry the blocks would halve the playtime!
> More agreeable. Less monotonous & beyond draggy/pushy objectives.

- That. One. Pulse. AND. Gasp!
- Lighting (shadows) come and go.
- Uneven mechanics.
- Fidgety controls; rotate, grab and move stuff.
- Vacant & uninteresting narrative.
- Accidentally creepy bugs!
- Has no hold over you...

+ Intuitive. Tools provided but not the method!
+ Unexpectedly dreadful. Every corner jumps at your imagination.
+ Restart function = cop-out from better & attentive design, but a nice touch regardless!
+ 40 levels; provocative motif.
