Pick a player at training this week. Count their ball contacts. It should be between 250-300. If not, why not. #coaching #ballcontact #skills

When coaching, the learning is in the doing & the teaching & not so much the talking. Basing training predominantly around practicalities rather than conversation will keep players engaged, stimulated & interested. #coaching #practical #ballcontact

Here's a 1 hour session for this week( u13 up), 20 players. 5 min warm up:dynamics, skip, squat, lunge, heels up etc 10 min fun:bib tag 15 min skills:kicking, goals/points 15 min:2 games, 5v5 & rotate every 5 mins 15 min:10v10 #coaching #gaa #simple #ballcontact
