23th August is a day then the contract between Nazis & Communists to attack the neighbours and to grab they lands has been signed in 1939.
The #BalticChain also called the #BalticWay was a reminder of this crime.
#OnThisDay in 1989, two million people joined hands to form a 600km human chain across the Baltic countries.
Known as the Baltic Way, this peaceful protest united Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania in their fight for freedom from Soviet rule.
