Shame on the @SEC officiating crew for calling this textbook tackle targeting and the @NCAA for allowing a perfect tackle like this to be taken away due to a very wrong call and rule. While also taking 3 quarters away from a player that did absolutely nothing wrong. THIS IS A CLEAN TEXTBOOK HELMET TO SHOULDER PADS HIT❗️The defender clearly had 0 intent of “targeting”, and did exactly what he was supposed to do when Brown took off running and ducked his head right before contact. Would y’all rather the defender hit the ball carrier in the knees once he ducks his head and blow his knee out instead? This is not a flag and should never be. #Bama #USF
