@neil_gibson1975 Over the years, I have encountered and answered several such gaping holes in the anti Calvinist arguments. One recent attack was wisely withdrawn. RL Dabney's observation below is devastating and, frankly, unanswerable. Calvinism is just #BasicTheism at its glorious best.
Even CS Lewis rightly saw that our praying does not advise our change God's mind i.e. His overall purpose. Again, our prayers should not, any more than our other actions, be separated from the continuous act of God Himself, in which alone all finite causes operate. #BasicTheism
In other words Calvin is saying:
1) God says it.
2) That settles it.
3) I believe it.
4) I teach it.
