I just finished reading Book 5, Chapter 13 of St. Bede’s Ecclesiastical History to my oldest. Now, all he wants to talk about are demons and Confession. #BedePosting

In St. Bede’s Ecclesiastical History, he tells the story of a man on his deathbed when two angels and an army of demons visit. They show him books of his good and bad deeds. You can read the rest for yourself. “Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Lord have mercy.
