How can you hear this and not say Chip won. He DEBUNKED everything and spun it back and made him into an AD-LIB‼️‼️#Chip #Ambush #Beehave

As I’ve said time and time again in this clash, Ambush (bar Mid Boss) has been impressive and shown his talent. …but there are LEVELS to this. Chip responded in 10-12 hours and had rebuttals & higher level lyricism for everything Ambush said. This clash is done. #BEEHAVE

Enemy AI is still my #gamedev nemesis😅 Faced reusability issues with my last approach, so gave Behaviour Trees another try. Thanks to #BeeHave Godot Plugin, BTs finally clicked! Built my own BT library for my #customengine, featuring a type-safe blackboard & basic debug view.

I had a lot of fun using #Beehave from @bitbrain to add a meele enemy 🎯to my starter kit! You can find the project and how I set up the AI on my Github. #GodotEngine

#Beehave v2.8.0 is out! We introduced a SimpleParallelNode that allows you to execute two child nodes at the same time in your AI behaviour tree. Check it out! https://t.co/eiyQg7h2YF #godotengine #godot4

We keep on working in our #rugby game which still has no name. #GodotEngine is our tool of choice, and we want to thank @bitbrain for his fantastic addon #beehave which allows our bit-players to tackle and pursue the ball like madmen! https://t.co/vPqTjLZKIa

For #beehave, I am okay with code being duplicated or not super-duper clean as long as it does the job. Enough opportunities come as time passes to refactor things along the way. Passing unit tests are far more important to me (and that the addon nor the debugger does not crash)

As someone who currently migrates #Beehave to GDExtension this is a good thread in my opinion. It summarises some of the challenges I had between GDExtension vs. working inside Godot modules.

The 'live' refresh of GDExtensions in #Godot is amazing. No need to restart the engine at all - I just recompile via 'scons target=editor' and rerun the unit tests through GDUnit4. #gamedev #beehave
