🌳 This #PeopleZones Grant Funded project has been busy co-ordinating volunteers & clearing the site within the school to begin transforming the 'Cobden Community Garden' 🌳
🏫 @Cobden_primary is at the heart of the #BellFoundry #PeopleZone & their garden project aims to work with vulnerable children & their families, "giving them the opportunity to work with the gardening team to plant seeds & develop the garden area"
The Assistant Headteacher and SENDCo for the school is passionate about "empowering them to step out of their comfort zones & engage in outdoor activities… providing a therapeutic outlet… giving them a sense of purpose alongside an opportunity to relax & socialise with others"
