In case you don't know this it's pretty incredible. For months, NED-funded Bellingcat claimed that it partners w/ OPCW. After OPCW's Douma scandal blew up -- & Bellingcat was used to discredit the OPCW whistleblowers -- @EliotHiggins deleted the claim & called it an "error." 🤔

Remember when we caught Bellingcat letting an unknown person write its Qs & typos in a failed attack on an OPCW whistleblower? Today the reporter whose material they stole, @ChrisDYork, came by. So I gave him a chance to explain. Instead he just deleted & ran away. #Bellingcaught

Looks like Bellingcat got offered sloppy seconds. Likely HuffPostUK editors, in effort to fact check York prior to publication, saw red flags. whoever directed this smearjob chose Huffpo 1st as the preferred publication, Bellingcat 2nd. Higgins reputation was already trashed.
